Shopping in Madrid
â–º Nobody leaves Madrid without a bag or two...
Where and when to do your shopping?
Madrid is a paradise for the shopaholics among us, and even if you are not, you are likely to come out from here with some packed bags.
In almost every street corner you will find a local or international clothing brand at attractive prices (not just during the sales). In Madrid the shopping happens on the street but there are also many shopping centers in the city, including the huge buildings which house the famous El Corte Ingles department store.
For those who want something more, you also have outlets located just a short drive away from the city center where you can find surplus stores of the world's leading chains.
So, when are the Madrid sales (REBAJAS) taking place:
Summer: June 21 through September 21.
Winter: January 7 through March 31.
